- Leadership is naive and refuses to listen - They act like they care about people, but they absolutely don't and it shows every day - Work/Life balance is non-existant - They're more worried about going fast than building a good product - Their mission statement constantly changes and the company is not driving towards any solid goals - Feature ideas seem to come from nowhere while ignoring our customers actual wants or fixing the existing bugs we have - They laid off some extremely talented individuals while keeping some known underperformers and those who are flat out bullys just because there were personal dislikes between leaders - Unclear expectations for raises and promotions. Promises of raises and promotions to individuals that don't get them - Only white males will be successful here and only if you are a yes man, everyone else is running for the hills and miserable

First, let me note that I left Greenlight before the recent layoff, so they did not directly affect me. That said, Greenlight has many cons. To name just a few: - The CEO is capricious and lacks any ability to set strategy and goals and stick to them - The CTO is vindictive and rewards his friends from past companies constantly. Positions are created out of thin air for people he likes and existing management is disparaged openly. The blatant sexism is pretty bad too - The product itself is terrible and those at the top are only focused on the newest, shiniest things they can find or conjure up. Can't get your own money out of the app? Who cares! Here's location sharing! Which...comes for *free* on iPhones. It seems to me that all of the PayPal execs showed up to turn Greenlight into something of their own image so that they can sell it to get rich and move on to the next place to do the same. It's sad
