I worked at Gucci full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing team and managers. Great parties (but this is just my personal experience)

    Cons

Dress code is strict: if your hair length is below your shoulder you should always wear a pony tail.

    Pros

Not found any at the moment beside knowing new people.
Discount yes is a pro but for what? Too expensive and too complicated to buy things even with staff discount.

    Cons

Pepople are stressed as there are target and not enough staff.
    Targets money and then you...maybe.
Working without respect of person. Different interpretation of
    Kering employees book.

    Advice to Management

We might be not rich as your customers but show the same respect I wanted to work in the company but regretted since I started.
    Always looking for staff...wonder why?

I worked at Gucci part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The job comes with incredible benefits, people and friendly and welcoming, you learn a lot about proper luxury service as the standards and retail monitoring systems are high and demanding.

    Cons

They pay their employees unevenly even if they do the same job, management is a mess, people leave often, teams change almost completely after every 6 months, unrealistic expectations to employees, not an environment for growth unless you're an italian speaker

I have been working at Gucci full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay/benefits package is good when store targets are exceeded but falls behind competitors when it's not.
If you're really good then the company may grant the opportunity to go to Italy for additional training and product knowledge.

    Cons

Very negative atmosphere and morale within the store.
Chances to progress without speaking Italian are very low.
High disparity in pay among staff made worse by commission scheme being based on a percentage of gross monthly salary.
Loyalty is not rewarded - salaries of new staff are higher than long term employees and not increased unless threatened with resignation.
Staff Rota is managed appallingly. Frequently either too many staff are scheduled to work the same shift rather than spread through the day or there are not enough staff scheduled to work at all.

    Advice to Management

    Sort out the pay gap!
