There are some really great people

Worst company I have ever worked for hands down. For a mental health company you’d expect them to care about employee wellbeing but this place does the absolute opposite. Countless people have left due to burnout, bullying and poor mental health that wasn’t an issue prior to joining. Favouritism is rife and proudly acknowledged and if you’re not a favourite you’re belittled. There is no professionalism and the double standards are crazy. The company is understaffed and the people overworked on a minimal salary. The micromanaging is unbelievable and you’d think you had walked into a primary school classroom if you joined. Your toilet breaks are timed, if you’re off the phone for a short amount of time you’re called out, it’s literally a glorified call centre

A company that changes and saves lives.

Pros

Great support from senior management, and heads of department. Supportive office culture, Good wellbeing support. Seeing the impact the counsellors have on individuals that are struggling with their mental health. CPD opportunities and overtime time. The counselling team, great counsellors and people, who go above and beyond.

Cons

The workload can feel very intense and flexible working would help create a better work life balance. External HR support would free up time for Managers to focus on team coaching.
