    Pros

    Private insurance for all grades

Very high unrealistic expectations, management dont like when you disagree with them. There is no progress or motivation and you constantly micromanaged and feel undervalued.

    Advice to Management

If you care about your employees/colleagues everything else will fall in place.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Halifax Banking full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

At times, great colleagues, until they get shipped off to different branches

    Cons

Constant change, and seemingly never for the better. Recent change involves more products pushed per appointment, which is unnecessary! No 'target' in place, but obvious pushing. Management cuts are frequent and now have colleagues who were once working alongside you, now managing branches on their own, whereas previously, there would have been 3/4 managers in branch. Bonus structure is dwindling, so next to nothing is rewarded. Also, so much paperwork is embedded because of the Lloyds takeover. If you love paperwork, constant cold calling and having to give a reason for your every existence in branch, then this place is for you!

    Advice to Management

You've employed a great team over the years, who have come in with high ambitions and pushed to be the best version of themselves. Don't then kick them down and make them feel worthless anymore, just because the job expectations have changed over night. And maybe stop cutting jobs so people can actually progress.
