Pros

Lots of opportunity to take on new work experience and grow your skills in areas outside of your direct role. It gives insight into the operational processes of software vendors and client implementation nuances.

Cons

Due to the small size, there are not large teams supporting supplemental documentation and process documents. This activity falls to the teams to create and maintain, which can be a lot to manage, but also reiterates the knowledge growth quickly to help advance careers.
