Pros

Great brand. Loyal and understanding customers.

Cons

Hertz Intl Board had no appreciation of the current status of the rental market in the corporate world. Zero investment in technology. Poor climate with its people. No respect or appreciation for the people in the branches who are stretched unhealthily low number per branch.

Pros

Great brand, great CEO in Kathy Marinello and the senior team in the US, positive actions by US HQ, and business seems to be turning around at a global level

Cons

Across Europe, talent is being stifled, there is little respect for regular employees, sarcastic comments made publicly by senior leaders and there is zero flexibility for anything related to work life balance, all at odds with everything in the modern working world.

A once great company ...........

Pros

The staff', that's it! After 20+ loyal years during that time the only constant was the support of your immediate team, area and fellow employees.

Cons

Where to start - this company used to mean something and be something, not anymore! It is simply all about the share price now and everybody's life is made a misery unless the investors are making money. Don't get me wrong, this is good but of course there is a problem with that - the more you have the more you want and it's down to the front line to achieve it!! I am afraid as an employee, especially those unfortunate enough to be customer facing (the real workers) on the front line you don't count, just make sure you can sell and reach those targets - or else!!! The fact that you deliver the best customer service is irrelevant!
