Pros

There are no pros, do not work for these people.

Cons

They hired a new manager who is extremely abusive to her staff. She said to me in a meeting that I " Came across as not very intelligent", "had the demeaner of a prison guard" , and " had accomplished nothing during my time as a teacher." Verbiage like this towards a staff member is never appropriate, and I was extremely disappointed that the business owners did nothing when I reported her for this behavior. There are better companies out there where management actually treats people like human beings, I cannot discourage you from working here strongly enough.

Pros

The families and kids are great. The owners are amazing as long as they like you.

Cons

The management is failing to address critical issues within the organization. The director, a friend of the owner, delegates a significant amount of work to floaters who are not compensated fairly. This leads to a lack of productivity, as many employees are more focused on their phones than their responsibilities. Additionally, there seems to be a double standard regarding performance expectations; certain teachers are held to unrealistic standards while others are not. The cleanliness of the classrooms is another concern, with management merely complaining about the situation instead of holding specific teachers accountable for maintaining a tidy environment. Moreover, some staff members with multiple safety concerns continue to be employed, while others are treated harshly, particularly towards young children. There is little opportunity for growth, as the owners dismiss complaints about the director due to their personal relationship. This could ultimately drive away dedicated employees, as the director creates a challenging work environment yet is never held responsible; blame is consistently placed on the staff. Promised raises for hard-working employees are not delivered, and individuals are assigned multiple roles without appropriate compensation for their increased responsibilities.
