The owners at HomeExchange bought and merged several home exchanging communities under the name HomeExchange and it was a complete failure, which lead to lots of angry customers.
The work is very monotonous and due to budget constraints ideas to move the company forward cannot be implemented. The owners are so set on “disrupting the market” and being bigger than competitors that they have lost sight of their customers and employees, which is a detriment to the company. They recently had to let go of many employees and close the Croatia office.
