Homenet under Cox Auto has lost its way. Career managers with no track record have been brought in to put down innovation and praise mediocre results and "team work." Cronyism and nepotism abound. If you want a "big corporate" atmosphere where you can work 9-5 and watch your skills completely stagnate, but have good pay and job security, Homenet is a great place to work. If you want to play politics, and climb the corporate ladder, and achieve meaningless "success" (and be part of what promises to be a catastrophic failure), Homenet is a great place. If you have any professional pride or interest in self-improvement, steer clear.

Management: Entirely remote means you have extremely unsympathetic management at all levels. Upper managers step over lower management to scold or micromanage. Lower management makes no effort to establish their boundaries. Other: Told to never communicate with co-workers while on the clock for anything other than work related topics can easily create hostility and distrust from people at your same level, or between Tier 1 & 2. Shameful assistance provided from Sr support members unless you know who to talk to, but this is frowned upon. Work is unrelenting due to a strained relationship between a sister business unit that is (as of 2021) in the process of a slow and uncoordinated merge that started in 2019. It's a call center where hold times regularly reach 45 minutes, high employee turnover is the norm.
