If you are serious about life then find another company or job
Pros
1. I can't think of any pros as this company can be catastrophic to your career but they do offer a good salary and in some cases - obnoxiously high. 2. They have a "shift" system where you can choose a shift to work within.
Cons
I have worked in different companies but this is by far the worse. 1. Breaks: So, your lunch break is strictly 30-mins (1:30 PM - 2:00 PM) and have two breaks of ten minutes - one in the morning & another in the evening. Apart from this, you cannot take a break - sorry. If you do then the guy outside the glass door will "warn" you. The door is "locked" once you are in (yes you read it right) and will be opened only upon request. May sound unbelievable but it is true. 2. Food & facilities: The strict break-timing means that employees are allowed to eat food on the desk & thankfully use the loo. You can get warned if you stand near the lone coffee machine for too long which is right beside the loo. There is a loo which is exclusive for the CEO & his family with a warning sticker on the door so have some control even when it's most urgent otherwise you shall be warned. 3. Social life: Employees are warned against talking aloud, socializing with others on the floor. You'll attract a warning from the HR if you are too social - implying that you talk to a member of a different team more than once. Needless to say, all the websites are blocked other than what the HR decides so that you focus on work. 4. Promotions: This a family-run company with almost all the positions on the top held by the family & friends. 5. HR Policies: The company enjoys a 90% attrition rate. Apart from a handful of employees & the promoters, you'll not come across a person with more than one year experience at this company. HR policies change frequently depending on the feedback or promoter mood swings. 6. Saturday is a working day. You need to work for a minimum five hours whilst it is optional for top management & a few others. 7. Your education certificates have to be "deposited" once you sign the offer letter. You will not be released, come what may, for six months minimum. Or in case of your untimely death, your certificates will be promptly returned to your family. I can go on and on but am sure you'd got an idea by now.
