Pros

Ability to work remote, and "unlimited" vacation when you can get the opportunity to take it.

Cons

A lot has changed over the course of five years, especially the past 2. The company is suffering talent flight as it continues to put inexperienced people in management roles based on how long they have worked with the leadership team (if you come from one of their former shops you should be all set, even if you just joined the company) and not based on quality of work and overall job performance. This right here should be a tremendous red flag. Leadership proves time and again to be immature and unprofessional, with a lot of behind the back badmouthing of employees - this comes to light in group projects and other conversations when in the office or onsite. Expect your role and responsibilities to shift constantly without your input. Often times, changes happen above your direct manager, with poor communication, and you are expected to follow marching orders. There is little to no job training and employee development. The company is cheap to its remote employees, limiting morale boosters to the old school ways of stocking the office kitchens with sodas and miscellaneous unhealthy snacks. Benefits are not competitive, expect to pay a lot out of pocket for health insurance. The newly instated bonuses are insignificant and inconsistent with personal performance.
