Pros

- Flexible (Depending on your position) - Snacks - 401K Match - Company Lunch/ Team Outings (1-2x a year) - Good coworkers, very friendly team environment - Get your feet wet

Cons

- Awful Micromanaging - Strict Rules - Depending on your position, you are forced to work overtime - Customers comes before employees - Hard to move up - Favoritism from CEO - Unsafe work environments. Had to work during blackout in the warehouse - Unfair treatment - None of the shelves are actually attached to the floor, if there's an earthquake it could be dangerous

Great People, Poor Management

Pros

-From the warehouse to the marketing room, you will have some of the friendliest and most supportive coworkers you could ask for. -If you like stationery, the place can feel like a playground. -Overtime is strictly prohibited, so you won't have to work late. -Pretty good health insurance (currently Kaiser). -Free snacks.

Cons

-Below-average pay. (Many office-side employees either live at home or were hired from out-of-state without a clear understanding of how much more expensive living costs are in the Bay Area.) -Little chance for meaningful advancement. -"Other duties as required" occupy upwards of half your working time and tend to involve work that would normally be done by a much better paid position. CSRs do most of the content work, marketing associates do most of the buying, etc. -Management doesn't seem to understand that being "nice" isn't the same thing as being ethical. There seems to be a general ignorance or disregard for things like OSHA (as correctly noted by another reviewer about warehouse associates being made to work in the dark) and the ADA. People on the spectrum or living with mood disorders should not expect to find accommodation here.

Pros

-Out of all of my jobs, the supervisors here are the most straightforward and respectful I've had -They provide perks to employees, like great snacks in the break room, employee outings and lunches once or twice a year, and they entered us in a basketball rec league -My coworkers were friendly people. Very low-drama environment -Efficient, optimized workflow that is easy to understand - They provide good healthcare and a 401k match -Very flexible scheduling -The program they use to track your work helps you know exactly what parts of your work you need to improve -Awesome direct deposit payroll system

Cons

-Depending on your position, the work can get very tedious -My back and neck got sore sometimes from bending over -There are very few ways to advance in the company
