Pros

Wonderful experience working at JobCloud with a strong, supportive software engineering culture. Collaborating with Yannick was especially great, had one of the best times there from trust, and a genuinely positive team dynamic made day to day work enjoyable and productive.

Cons

Like any company, there are occasional process or priority changes, but nothing out of the ordinary and generally handled transparently.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share this and even more for being part of JobCloud! It’s great to read that you experienced the engineering culture so positively - this is someting we genuinely care about, So it means a lot to see it reflected in your experience. We also appreciate you calling out the reality around shifting priorities. It’s something every growing company deals with, but it’s good to hear that it felt transparent overall from your perspective. Wishing you all the best and take care. Best wishes, Marina (Senior Talent Acquistion Partner)

Pros

Usually stress free from my perspective over 4 years, but not currently during the migration in the past 6 months. Work life balance Hybrid model without any pressure to come to the office Middle managers are usually really friendly and helpful (but have absolutely no influence on business, they are more like project managers then actual managers).

Cons

Senior management is super protected and rarely takes accountability about anything in the company. Have no real plans or idea on how to grow the company. You will not progress in your career at all , or will your salary will not raise more then 5% , even after a few years. So my advice it come to Jobcloud if you are a Junior and want something to learn and leave after 2 years or if you are a Senior developer and want less pressure (usually) compared to some other companies. Don't come if you plan to grow, be promoted or expect your career to progress, low performers will not get a raise, ultra high performers will get 1%, 2% or nothing at all as well, it's just not worth it to invest your energy. All in all, "fake" career ladder and salary brackets (you will need to perform on a grade above your level for 2-3 years before they decide to promote you). Also there is a fear of extra (few hidden during last 2 years) layoffs after Migration and new org structure next year.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback and long-term perspective. We appreciate your comments on work-life balance, flexibility, and the supportive team environment. We also acknowledge the points you raise regarding career development, compensation, leadership accountability, and the recent migration. Experiences can differ, and we believe there is always room to improve. We encourage employees to discuss any dissatisfaction with their manager, or if that’s not possible, to seek support from the People & Culture team. Your feedback is valued and helps inform ongoing discussions and improvements. Best, Ramona

Pros

Work without pressure (majority of the time) Salaries pretty good New technologies in everyday work

Cons

There are more chances of a third limb growing on your body than a salary. Extremely slow process for any position advancements (even before all of the IT crisis on the market currently). Your starting salary is like technologies in big banks, its never going to change. In this time of extremely high inflation, your salary is strong and independent of it.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear you enjoy working with new technologies, feel little pressure most of the time, and find the salary competitive. We totally get your concerns around career growth and salary progression. That’s an area we know we can still do better in, and your feedback is a good reminder to keep pushing forward with things like our career ladders and the fair-on-pay certificate. We’ll keep working on making things more dynamic and transparent. Really appreciate your honesty after several years with us!
