Pros

The staff are mostly kind and relatable, with free coffee as an added convenience.

Cons

Lacks diversity and feels culturally homogeneous. Advancement is significantly harder for employees from minority backgrounds, with extra effort often going unrecognized. Strict in-office requirements with no flexibility for remote work. Junior staff are often spoken to or managed in a patronizing manner. Minimal perks beyond basic benefits; little investment in employee wellbeing. Social activities are repetitive and limited, with few inclusive or varied events. Staff are blamed for low workloads despite limited business development efforts and inconsistent leadership in winning new work. Very few meaningful community or pro bono initiatives. Strong pressure to conform, creating an environment that can feel insular or exclusionary. Hard work and long hours rarely lead to acknowledgment or appreciation. Promotions tend to favor certain individuals rather than being based on merit. Advancement often depends on managing upward or aligning closely with leadership personalities. Workplace gossip is common, partly due to long hours and little separation between work and personal life. Former employees sometimes face negative treatment after leaving. Compensation lacks transparency, with raises often going to select individuals without clear criteria. Lateral hires or newcomers often struggle to integrate and may feel pushed out if they don’t fit existing norms.
