    I worked at Kantar full-time

    Pros

Some of the individual teams and departments produce good work. The future is data-led and Kantar is well-positioned to deliver it. I worked with some awesome people. The roster of clients was diverse and impressive, and the opportunities to use new research tools were frequent. Salaries are fair for the sector.

    Cons

Kantar is a multi-headed beast. It is both part of WPP, while at the same time being its own umbrella brand separated in different companies, which in turn have grown over the years via mergers and acquisitions. Senior management wants to encourage collaboration between teams, departments and companies, but it's hard to drive this forward. The data integration tools aren't there, the leadership isn't there, and the communication isn't there. It's very frustrating when you see the potential that exists, but you don't see the company steering itself in the right direction.
