Depending on your technical expertise, it can get boring quickly ;-)
The company initially started in the hardware business and the software department grew slowly over the years. Despite the fact that now almost 1/4th of all employees work in software-related positions I had the feeling that KEBA was cut on two.
I personally missed the direct conversation with the customer. They were shielded by a hierarchy of salesy/managerial people and it was impossible to reach simple technical decisions. When the product/project was finally delivered to the customer we got zero feedback.
No clear career path.
