Pros

Steady paycheck. People you are working with attempt to work as a team even though there is little to no direction given.

Cons

Management has no daily communications skills. Lets talent walk out the door with no thought of the experience and skills they are losing or how this will affect those that choose to stay. Forced mandatory weekend work several times now in order to catch up on projects, but will only hire the minimum amount of people needed to get something done. No chance to move up and salary is almost stagnant.

No organization within the departments, leaders are stuck in their ways, little to no value to employee input. Little to no training and feels like you're setup to fail if you were not with one of the companies before they all merged together . No work related CBT training.

Loved working on the isolation unit, good team with good teamwork! Uses epic.

Cons

High Stress and turnover of staff. many new nurses in the ED especially on the night shift. Staff can be "Cliquey." Patient population is mainly unhoused that need a place to sleep. Measly .20 cent raises. Your just a spot on the schedule there.
