Pros

Great owner and support staff. A good place for telecom professionals, but they are only good at trying to win contracts where they hire the incumbents. They have very limited technical staff

Cons

President Angela Cole is a brilliant person, but a terrible, terrible person and proposal person, I am the 5th person to leave the proposal writer position in the last year and a half. They have no review process for proposals, except send it to Angela and then have a beratement of the product and then fix it. For an ISO-centric company, there processes are very poor across the board. Do NOT write propsals for this company.

Pros

There are no pros. This is just a under market paycheck. You are just a body for a position.

Cons

Do not believe the 5 star reviews, those are fake and added by corporate. LCI took over a DoD contract from the last company I worked for. They cut positions by 1/3 and cut salaries across the board except for a few management positions. The company does not retain employees and most of their sites are a revolving door. Average cut was 20%. Some were cut 40%. We were told too bad, take it or leave it. Get a second job. Benefit package is awful and was not provided during negotiations since they did not want to reveal how much employee contributions would be. Lack of communication from senior leaders. Dis-honest from the top down, people are threatened if they provide upward feedback. A body for a position, that is all you will be. Corporate office mis-handles PII information. Loses it, requests same documents multiple times. Never encrypts emails, this goes against DoD policy for handling PII information. Most employees are looking for other opportunities. This was once a great place to work, now it is just a paycheck until something better comes along. You have been warned.

As a contractor you are a red haired stepchild at best.

Pros

Their pay is adequate but not great.

Cons

Where to start, you are viewed as a necessary evil. Only a means to their ends. Their number #1 goal is to put contractor butts in seats, regardless if the person is qualified or not. Just get someone in there so they can start billing the govt. This leads to people coming in, then a few months later having to be fired from their job. Difficult at best to work with HR on matters.
