Pros

The company and leadership were amazing when I started. You won't go hungry if you go into the office. There's food! Great office location and casual dress environment. Some people who work there are amazing and caring.

Cons

Turnover is high, layoffs occur every few years. Management makes short term revenue decisions without considering the long term impact. Constant changes of direction. Most people are very stressed and overworked. When employees leave they are not replaced but the volume of work doesn't decrease.

Pros

None. I wasn't there long enough

Cons

They say you are hired but training is really a pre-qualifying test for employment. They don't tell you this. I passed over another job to go with Legacy, only to be terminated for not passing their test.

Pros

The teams at Legacy are great. The collaboration between team members is great. There is weekly lunch catering but it's really the cheapest type of food they could find to feed everyone on a regular basis. Chipotle, Chinese, Pizza, etc... Snacks in the office is nice. There are a lot of great people at Legacy that work hard to achieve their goals. The customer service teams are great and work really hard at what they do. HR is great and does a good balance between protecting their employees from the company and protecting the company from the employees. Good hours and work life balance.

Cons

They haven't updated their business model or product offerings much in the last decade. It's still focused on ad revenue. When a page doesn't do well, add more ads to it. It's hard to reach the levels of growth they are looking to hit so they recently closed an entire office, not because the location wasn't producing, but because the company as a whole moved their management back to Chicago, abandoning the location with any form of leadership. The company as a whole is looking to grow at an unsustainable level year over year. Their technology stack is old and patchworked together with a decades worth of legacy code that hasn't been refactored since the Bush administration. No employee investment, training or otherwise. Depending on your department, there is little to no career growth. You can certainly move up the chain in some groups but that isn't universal. Very weak 401k. Sometimes you don't have the resources to do the job you need, tools, etc... so you need to improvise which is frustrating.
