- Program began to struggle with funding and reduced services for clients and management seemed stressed. Began to feel less job security.
- Eliminated some of the perks as the years went on (used to provide bonuses for performance, PTO on your birthday, etc)
- Didn't like all of the Psychiatrists or their medical approach to client care - felt they were over worked and did not listen to their patients or collaborate with the therapists as much as they could have.
- Large caseloads
- Had to spend many days "running clinic"(Taking 5-10 minutes to meet with each doctor's next patient and ask pre screening questions about symptoms and behaviors before they met with the MD). Lost hours or full workdays doing this vs. using skills and training to counsel your clients and personal caseload.
