Pay is statistically very low. Most of the star engineers only work there because of the culture, and Lighthouse is nothing shy of lucky that's the case. Beside leaderships, I can think of 2 or 3 individuals who would easily make 2x more money within a 40-mile radius of Temple. Lighthouse has had to make a lot of changes to client agreements to get people more pay, but I also think that some key leadership believes that the techs/engineers are being paid fairly, which is just not the case. A lot of client solutions are kind of built to cut corners in the name of saving the client a few bucks. Lighthouse has always been a support driven company, some of the actual infrastructure solutions had me scratching my head. The opportunity can also be a tad limited, as like I mentioned, it's mostly a support and customer service driven company. If you want to grow a career in networking, cloud, systems administration, security, etc., you will definitely hit a ceiling at Lighthouse. If you're interested in the business side of IT, then I'd say this is a great place to be.
