Pros

Absolutely none that exists any longer, except for great memories of working with people who founded startups that Litera bought and turned into ashes.

Cons

Cognitive Dissonance - talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk (ie. Diversity&Inclusion Group is asking how to remove biases while referring to everyone as "Women and Men"., as if those are the only two options. ) Management enables manipulative behaviors (i.e. gaslighting) of employees by negligence and keeping silent to avoid any sort of conflict. Every month Litera hires 10 -30 new people. While the total headcount does not change much, so you go figure the turnover. Never seen so many incompetent people in one place - if you need to train managers on how to use scheduling assistant and set meeting agenda - they should not have been hired as a manger at all. Love-bombing compliments for "going above and beyond". If you ask your employees to go above and beyond it means that someone else is not doing bare minimum. Managers are negotiating on your personal boundaries and claim that they know better how you feel, and that for sure "is not that bad". Salaries - good in the US, below market value in Europe and below respect and sea level in India. Everyone in my team is quietly quitting and looking for another job.

Pros

I liked the people I worked with day to day. It's not a prison, you can leave.

Cons

Very centrally managed, old fashioned firm. Lack of understanding of agile development. Disorganised. Some low standards that really surprised me.

Pros

You will learn how to do things outside of your job role which will probably make you more marketable when you leave.

Cons

No support for existing employees in terms of growth. No accountability at any level of this company's structure, it's always somebody else's fault why something isn't working or doing. If you don't like it leave. You learn a lot because the company isn't helping people get to actionable goals, just a lot of platitudes and disappointment. Come here to make a buck and leave.
