      Pros

Some of the work is unique and very interesting. Prestige associated with Lloyd's on the CV is very high. Some extremely high quality colleagues.

      Cons

They have existed for over three centuries and seem to plan to continue in their current form for another three. Some colleagues are martyrs and try and guilt you into working crazy hours.

      Pros

Intelligent polite respectful employees who want to do the best for Lloyd’s

      Cons

It’s becoming more and more hierarchical and more chaotic. Employees are treated like children and senior leaders don’t follow their own policies and procedures they just do what they want. Not convinced people at top know how to change the organisation.

      Says one thing does another

20 Jan 2021 - Analyst in London, England, England
      Recommend

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexible home working even before the pandemic, generous salary and benefits, mostly friendly atmosphere

      Cons

Lack of diversity is plainly obvious, put deadlines and workload over health and wellbeing. Doesn't value inhouse knowledge and experience. Prefers spending loads of money on 3rd party resource and day rate contractors to do the same job. Instead of investing in your own staff for career development and progression.
