I worked at Louis Vuitton full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Just far and above the technology any other company has, a lot is invested into the staff satisfaction as well as education of brand. A very strong values system which brings all stores across the world together.

    Cons

Retail hours. Never fun, especially at Christmas

I worked at Louis Vuitton part-time for less than a year

    Pros

*Amazing brand *Inspiring stories *Good on CV

    Cons

    * Lack of empathy for medical absence or any other urgent matters as such (that was held against me personally and it was the reason why my probation was extended) *Absolutely horrific management - had managers who couldn't even speak a word of English and explain themselves to the complaining customers. Personally witnessed one of my managers' lack of product knowledge when a customer asked for a particular thing, sometimes they would make you stay overtime and you won't be compensated. *Immature and jealous colleagues - would tell on you for everything - if you went to the toilet before your break, if you were 3 mins late, if you take too many bags out for clients to see, the list goes on and on! *No one takes criticism/ opinions - you need to be 'programmed' to be able to work there and think every single product is god's gift to humanity. *No human factor - was denied my requested holidays twice *Horrible work life balance - you would get calls and queries outside working hours *Ridiculous staff discount at only 30% and no benefits - basically no motivation to stay in the company *Product quality - it is horrendous for the price people pay, products get ruined within weeks! *Prolonging giving uniforms and work phones - you constantly need to borrow someone's work phone in the beginning *Gossiping - need I say more?!
