      Pros

      A lot of funding is possible, the equipment is brand new. There is a lot of support, working hours are manageble, Labs not crowded. In general friendly atmosphere and it is nice to be in Oxford

      Cons

      Junior PIs, would not recoment for the postdocs as no one seems to get PI positions from here. Would not advice to join big labs if one does not know what he/she is doing.

      New equipment Young principle investigates, so you can get a lot more of their time then more experienced professors. nice community Many good talks

      Cons

      Awful work life balance Inexperienced staff and professionals Campus is out of the city Very little connection between facility and the wider university
