      Pros

      Home time. There were some genuinely nice people there. Opportunity to travel was good and junior management seemed to have a desire to make a difference.

      Cons

      Lack of business direction. Fear-driven blame culture. Abysmal lack of communication from totally inept, clueless senior management. High attrition rate/staff turnover (unsurprisingly). Very low morale within office. Dreadful atmosphere. No acknowledgement of work produced. Hideous experience from start to finish.

      Poor top-level leadership changes are damaging the company

      Pros

      Mid-sized, therefore less bureaucracy to implement ideas. Highly technical and complex projects, which have potential to inspire/develop. New focus on performance conversations and recent improvement in people IT systems gives hope.

      Cons

      Historical culture of fear/autocracy from earlier leadership, plus 4 company CEOs in 4 years has caused chaos. Absolute lack of leadership. No relatable vision or strategy. Any attempts to talk about strategy are just empty words, and efforts to communicate by Executive team are few & far between. Very few consequences at top leadership level for dreadful performance. The whole company is lacklustre. Good people hired on basis they can help to change things, but repeatedly they become flat and demotivated quickly.

      Pros

      Good Company to work for. World class PM and senior staff within site delivery team. Ex Project Director who in all probability left due to intolerable circumstances was a leader in the truest meaning of the word. Very few understand leadership. This man did. Really good, strong project team, experienced, who know what they are doing. Great team spirit.

      Cons

      Foolish Interventions - bringing in a recovery team lost focus, endlessly focussing on team rather than in cause of issue which was a poorly co-ordinated & incomplete design. Probably put project back 3 months. At what cost? Crazy. Top management blame delivery team for their own failings. Nice.
