Pros

Great people and everyone is really trying.

Cons

Over worked, underpaid, management want to help but everyone is drowning - working evenings and weekends and can’t catch a break. It’s clear the company only cares about profit at the expense of people. No one lastS long.

Pros

- Good benefits - Learnt a lot of valuable skills

Cons

- Knowledge silos and exclusion from key meetings: I encountered significant challenges due to the existence of knowledge silos within the organisation. This was further exacerbated by being excluded from crucial meetings, which resulted in a disparity in information access among co-workers. Such an environment hindered my ability to stay informed and contribute effectively to team objectives. - Encounters with unprofessional behaviour: My experience was marred by interactions with a co-worker who displayed a consistently arrogant demeanour. This individual frequently undermined team morale by making disparaging comparisons of our professional capabilities. Such behaviour not only affected the workplace atmosphere but also impacted personal confidence and team dynamics. Management was aware of this but took no actions to address these problems seriously. - Lack of communication on project contributions: There were instances where my work was altered or taken over by colleagues without prior notification or discussion. This led to situations where I was unaware of significant changes made to projects I was involved in, presenting challenges during team meetings and affecting the continuity of my contributions. The absence of clear communication in these instances compromised the collaborative process and project integrity. - Redundancy and organisational restructuring: Just before reaching my two-year anniversary with the company, I, along with other non-Spanish colleagues, was made redundant as part of the organisation's cost-cutting measures. This decision seemed to be influenced by the existing knowledge silos and a growing disconnect within our team, particularly affecting those of us based outside of Spain. Subsequently, our positions were filled by local (Spanish) employees, which highlighted concerns regarding the company's approach to diversity and inclusion in the context of its restructuring efforts.
