Pros

There aren't any left, like most of the original MTI staff.

Cons

Poor management team now that all of MTIs decent managers have gone. Have all been replaced by ex-Trustmarque employees. Its a bit like an old boys club now. I had never heard of Trustmarque before but they clearly didn't do that well. they were dissolved into Capita plc overnight. Now everyone is back in the old boys club. Every decent person I worked with, within the last three years has walked away from their jobs. Its doomed to fail and then the boys club will move onto their next victims.

Pros

None at all - awful place

Cons

THEN LOOK NO FURTHER…That’s right MTI technology is a company built on a bullying culture, consistently attempting to strike fear into their employees with a “only as good as your next target” ethos. Delusional upper management trying to convince their sales force that very below average products / services are the best on the market, despite being partnered with just 6 vendors that are sub standard in their fields. They will promise you the world to get you through the door and deliver absolutely nothing to what you were expecting. They’ll set you high unrealistic targets with effectively a blank canvas of an account base and question you as to why you’ve not pulled a rabbit out of the hat by securing business to hit your target. Upper management claim to be approachable and I’ve never worked for a business with such a blatant divide within its workforce, one sales team where they think the world of them and the other they treat like children. If you’re unfortunate enough to be part of the latter team then expect some intense micro-management with weekly forecast calls and constantly being asked to call a figure of what you’ll expect to hit and will be held accountable too, with no sense of empathy if a deal falls through. Having raising the notable divide to upper management, would regularly be told we’re going out for a social after work to get to know people… only for the senior management to scarper off early and not tell anyone where they’ve gone. “When I asked for a clear progression path to the senior sales team, the response was effectively a simple ‘so what Rolex do you want?’ Followed by a plethora of generic meaningless motivational quotes that I suspect where first read on the social media app Instagram on the tube into work’ I’d say avoid at all costs would be putting it lightly, don’t even consider joining this organisation unless you like the sound of the above.

Pros

There is plenty of knowledge within the support teams at MTI, Everyone has a solid understanding of the solutions and are happy to get involved and help out with the sales process. Sales people are not expected to get too heavily involved in the admin processes which means more time on the phone bringing in business. The office is in a convenient location and the service staff are very friendly. MTI also like to take the whole company down to their offices in Surrey every few months for company updates keeping people informed on managements decisions.

Cons

There is a culture of bullying and harassment amongst sales staff and the management flip flop on decisions. There is the expectation to know clients inside and out (which is a completely fair ask!) however at the same time expected sales staff to make very high volumes of calls. Although not measured in set KPI's management encouraged 300 calls a day. There is little respect for team members personal situations, with managements line being "Just dont tell me, I dont want to know". They are also very strict with staff and tend to go overboard on micromanagement.
