      Pros

      Great values! Always evolving which is good for the company! Great holiday allowance! Global office so has quite a mix of employees!!

      Cons

      Lazy management; stuck in their ways; not innovative; no investment in staff development; unfortunately all that I heard from those I worked with and encountered was negative; not very good work life balance as allowing employees to work from home doesn't mean they have a balanced work-life!

      Pros

      You play a much bigger role in the success of the company than you would in many other CRO's. Generally speaking the mid management will listen to your suggestions (although not always use them) Projects are very broad and interesting. Teams are built to work in a global way meaning you are not regionally focussed (thumbs up). Generally speaking, a very good place to work

      Cons

      There appears to be a communication malfunction since Mapi bought Optum Life Sciences. Improving, but still not where it should be Some weaknesses in middle management (although weaknesses = opportunity for others) In terms of exposure, Mapi seem to be a "best kept secret". Much more investment needed in marketing so that others can see what employees see

      Good place to start career in the health economics sector Interesting spectrum of challenging HEOR projects and new methods and offerings are beginning to play a larger role in the company business model. Enjoyable environment and camaraderie

      Cons

      Growing pains from the acquisition of European OptumInsight last year. Middle and high management lacks transparency. Lagging in the IT infrastructure and innovation
