Pros

- when ambitious people realize it's a dumpster fire company and get out

Cons

pretty much everything. Management: - Upper management does not care at all about loyal employees. Only care about the bottom line and keeping their pockets fat - It's all political. If you say the right things to the right people, you will be fine. Other than that, keep your mouth shut and keep working -Many GREAT employees have quit or been fired because their managers gatekeep information and power to the point where it's impossible to advance in the company. - Sincere concerns over specific managers have been flagged to HR and upper management countless times by awesome employees and have been completely ignored every time. If you are not on the side of upper management, pack your bags. - Management has zero career pathing for people and zero interest in helping employees grow and learn -This company is full of broken promises and excuses. Culture: - If there was a place with less culture than Marketron, I'd be surprised. This place is where dreams go to die. THIS PLACE IS A DISASTER OF A COMPANY WITH HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. DO NOT WORK HERE. PLEASE.

Pros

I always felt that my salary was in line with my experience and contribution to the team. They also offered regular salary reviews and promotions based on performance, which was a great motivator.

Cons

The upper management of this company was not only close-minded, but their dreadful approach to decision-making created immense pressure on their employees. It was disappointing to see how their reluctance to consider new ideas or embrace innovative technologies led to missed opportunities and a stagnation in growth. The company's inability to adapt to the changing market and emerging trends was a direct result of their rigid mindset, which ultimately had a negative impact on both the employees and the company's bottom line. It is crucial for leaders to be open to new ideas and be willing to take risks to stay competitive on today's rapidly evolving business landscape.

A Company in Freefall - Avoid Marketron at All Costs

Pros

There are some good employees left to pick up the pieces

Cons

I don't even know where to start with my experience at Marketron. This company has turned into a prime example of how NOT to run a business. To say that Marketron's CEO and executive team have run the company into the ground would be an understatement. The level of incompetence and deception I've witnessed during my time here is truly astounding. The executive team at Marketron has consistently made disastrous decisions that played a significant role in the company's downfall. Their choices were marked by a stunning lack of transparency, leading to an environment of confusion and frustration among employees. The most egregious aspect of Marketron's operations is the blatant dishonesty when dealing with clients, both during the pre-sales and post-sales phases. The software they offer is riddled with bugs and inefficiencies, yet the sales team painted a picture of a seamless and efficient solution that rarely, if ever, failed. This misleading information is not only unfair to clients but also puts immense pressure on the development and support teams to keep up the façade. Over the course of just one year, Marketron initiated two brutal rounds of layoffs, leaving over 65 dedicated employees without a job. Many of these layoffs could have been avoided if the executive team had taken responsible measures to prevent the company's downward spiral. In a desperate attempt to save face, the CEO stepped down from their role, but don't be fooled - it is merely a way for him to maintain influence by taking a seat on the board. This move was nothing short of a cynical attempt to hold onto power and avoid taking accountability for their role in the company's demise. In summary, I would strongly caution anyone considering employment or business relations with Marketron to think twice. This is a company that has lost its way, and it's unlikely to find its footing anytime soon.
