Pros
-no fixed hours of work (we focus on getting projects and tasks done, not watching a clock) -unlimited time away (we focus on getting projects and tasks done, not doing math against your calendar) -progressive work environment (everyone's input matters and we value your work-life balance) -high performing team - everyone has an important job to do, every job matters -company mission is important and impactful -benefits package gets better every year (now has dental and glasses) -catered lunches on Friday are a big hit!
Cons
-we hire the best of the best -every employee has to be excellent, passionate, authentic and kind -we don't have an employee policy manual or superfluous departments like HR or IT -still working on setting up an RRSP contribution system for employees

Pros
Sick days, vacation days, personal days, all are very generous, all paid. Free beverages everyday, free lunches on Friday, employees occasionally bring in snacks for everyone. Mostly open concept office, management is approachable. Typically they discourage overtime, though there have been some crunches. Encourages taking a 5 minute break to clear your head.
Cons
You need a certain kind of personality to get along with people. It's small enough that everyone is everyone else's friend, so not getting along with one person can be a big deal. Being so small, they lack certain kinds of supports that large corporations typically have.
