This company could become big and if you get in now you could say that you were there early on. But from the moment I joined I had goals put on me that I personally thought were extremely hard to achieve and I have been a developer for over 10 years. Also, all sense of a life outside of them disappeared from the first day.
In the spirit of fairness I want to say that I was there very briefly and I didn't get a sense of how true this sentiment was for others in the company. But I also want to say that my previous managers think highly of me. In fact one of them is starting a company and has invited me to be one of the first engineers.
The above may sound harsh, but I believe in empowering people with knowledge. In fact this review may *help* Miles filter out candidates that aren't right for them. If your dream is to be in on the ground floor of a company that could be a household name, and you are willing to sacrifice everything outside of your professional life to make that happen, Miles might be for you. But be realistic of how much work/life balance is import to you. I was surprised with my own assessmwent.
