    I worked at Monitise full-time

    Pros

Modern approach to tech - cloud, micro-services, DevOps, Agile.

    Cons

Lack of care for resources. Lack of sales. Lack of prioritisation. Lack of experience, leading to regular changes in direction and focus. Talent is let down by ego and focus on self rather than team. Moved offices more times than I can count!

    Advice to Management

More focus on people would make Monitise are far better place to work.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Some nice people, some nice offices and ultimately a great, but slightly late strategy that's meant that they've struggled and had to massively downsize to keep afloat

    Cons

Challenging business model - i.e. working with banks - you need grit, determination and at least £50m in the bank given how long it takes to design, plan, implement, operate and then get paid!

    Advice to Management

    Simple sticks, complex wrecks!
