Pros

For some reason Multiplier is lucky to have some really good and dedicated employees and they are the main pro.

Cons

Where do I even start? - horrible culture in which blame, disrespect and threatening statements seem to be a norm - employees' well-being and rights are only spoken about, not acted upon - work-life balance is not encouraged, instead working long hours is - as a CSM it feels like you have to give up on your integrity to do your job - most new employees are hired in India, which creates disbalance and a lack of diversity - unrealistic expectations followed by zero recognition - unprofessional behaviour from the CEO who swears (often in Hindi) in the open office and tends to gossip about employees who are not his favourites behind their back - do as you're told or get fired attitude from top leadership - employees (and clients) are taken for granted and exploited daily

Pros

Fully remote; good company laptop; and private health insurance; opportunities to excel if you have no tangible skills and befriend the right people in leadership team without challenging or questioning anyone; actively encourage an unhealthy work-life balance.

Cons

High staff turnover; regular new hires in senior leadership team, who leave very shortly after when they realise they cannot make the changes they were brought in to make; prepare to work 12+ hours a day, otherwise you will not be considered ‘hard-working’; very low team morale; clear favouritism towards some employees and setting others up to fail; unrealistic and unattainable targets; consistently moving the goalposts and not communicating changes; ‘sink or swim’ culture with no personnel support; town hall meetings are long, egotistical monologues by senior management and a waste of everyone’s time; ‘do as you’re told’ with no tolerance for individualism or creativeness; culture of fear to raise any concerns, take annual leave or time off sick.

Pros

Working with people based around the globe, the whole team is built with impressive profiles. Great team spirit in the Finance team among the mid-level colleagues, the same goes when dealing with other teams. Team spirit goes beyond employment (sadly because everyone faces sudden termination or feels an urge to look for a new job). My role was super exciting and interesting in the first year when the company developed in EMEA and gave a great autonomy to manage different countries and organise my own work. I met and worked with accounting partners/great people across the whole continent. All round it was very empowering and it is a great industry/product to work for! Salary/benefits package is okay but the key benefit really is 100% work from home and work from abroad allowed. Don't expect anything to fancy.

Cons

- Great tools but could do much better. - Understaffed and the current staff's performance is not appreciated. - Working chaotically every week, with unrealistic deadlines. 30% of the job done by the deadline will do. No time for producing accurate accounts. - Huge mistakes and delays are big part of the life there and gives a high amount of shame and frustration. - Neglect of relationships with important suppliers that have been doing a great job for us. - Time should be considered extremely precious given the business but instead let's set up 30min and 3 hours of just Finance team calls every mornings that are useless, most of the time filled with micro-management and very negative communication from seniors, such a diminishing someone in front of the whole team, talking bad about business partners or other teams, telling my colleagues and me to take our responsibilities or fear for our job. - As in every toxic and insecure workplace, some people will be ready to backstab to get a role, or just to stay safe in the job rather than speaking up against what is unacceptable!! - Ambitions can be attained if ready to disregard any work standards, morals and play the good friend with mean managers. - The company do not care about work/life balance and take advantage of people working hard who are giving away a lot, if not all their personal time, even when those colleagues have family to take care of in addition of themselves. - Managers/Leaders/HR cannot care to hear nor support your acute stress. Some senior could even laugh at your face if you admit that you cannot bear this environment. - Being/keeping healthy seems like a dream and you can only achieve it by leaving this company.
