    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Mysale Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Friday Food & Drinks organised by different departments each week
    - Flexible working hours i.e start at 8:00 finish at 16:30(summer time) not sure about winter.
    - Rooftop access
    - Fresh Fruits every Monday
    - Learn fundamentals skills of building relationships with suppliers and managing critical path
    - Warehouse Visit - Get to see and understand how stock is being processed etc

    Cons

    - I do not recommend this role for someone who is looking for an entry buying role as you don’t really grasp what Buying is i.e renaming images for order, creating html links, data cleansing(changing names on website, adding barcodes) so basically if you have a degree in buying or merchandising don’t waste your time.
    - Lack of communication within role and team
    - Small Company which could be a strength and personal preference
    - No benefits, Pension is only set up after 3 months at working at company
    - Unpaid sick leave
    - Role wasn’t challenging enough, leaving you with looking for things to do.
    - Not being included in meetings
    - No commercial awareness within company or role
    - No one to one feedback from manager
    - Cliquey environment especially as its such a small company
    - Job description was complete opposite as HR provided incorrect Information
    - Extremely high staff turnover - usually last 1-3 months
    - Sharing the role with others not allowing you to fully develop in role
    - No learning and development courses
    - make sure to ask loads of questions as a lot of things aren’t outlined in employee handbook or you don’t receive until it’s too late
    - 20 days holiday which could also be a pro depending on how much holiday you use but nothing special

    Advice to Management

    - More one to one feedback
    - Refer to person directly if you have issues
    - Effective communication - have weekly meetings so everyone on same page
    - Provide necessary Buying knowledge as most BAA in this company have no other experience in buying or knowledge about industry. This can be useful so when they want to progress they can eventually work towards Buyer role - learning and development courses
