I have been working at NIKE full-time

    Pros

We had a really good team that all got along well which meant working was more fun but still worked, good discount too.

    Cons

Monthly targets were too high which caused way too much unnecessary stress on managers, we also did not get a uniform allowance and a lot of changes would happen where we suddenly couldn’t wear a certain style anymore which meant we had to spend more money so that we could come into work in the right uniform.

    Advice to Management

Management need to be fair to all staff and not have favourites. I believe you’re allowed to have friends at work but I don’t agree on not acting like their manager and letting them get away with things because it’s your friend whilst telling others off for the exact same thing

I worked at NIKE part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Discount 44%
Opportunities to work in other stores

    Cons

Management have far too much of an ego especially at the Birmingham Store.

Personal circumstances are not treated as serious issues they just care whether or not you will be in, no care for your wellbeing what so ever.

You cannot have a social life and work here, RW banned day off requests, shift swaps and also forced us all to book our holiday off by the 31st of January even though the handbook states we do not have to book the whole 7 weeks it is 3 weeks at the start of the year 3 weeks in the middle and 1 week to play around with.

    Advice to Management

Bring back you OPR days, however this time make it a random check so you can truly see a real reflection of the store and it’s management.
