      Pros

      Near is one of those startups that live up to the expectations of a super challenging work environment. - They have one the best products out there. - Great minds. - Very international culture. - Yummy free Indian food. - One of the smartest CEO I've come across.

      Cons

      The CEO is the key visionary. Which is good and bad as he needs to get involved in most things to get moving.

      Pros

      * Kindly join if u can handle and enjoy adhoc tech work over legacy stuff. * Sometimes payment can be good if the company is trying hard to recruit. The company is mostly understaffed, so it may be easy to get a job there. * Challenges of the sales teams are actually interesting.

      Cons

      * Good engineering team members have quit. Company is usually understaffed and it is a struggle to get the ends meet. * The management is very opaque in decision making, leads to much confusion and unrest down the layers. * Employees are made to work on weekends too without prior notice, no apparent reason or extra benefit. If they are planning to fire one employee, they will try to behave indifferent until u decide to leave all by yourself. * Flexi timings are advertised but everything is tracked and questioned. Benefits are mostly on paper. The culture is stiff.
