As the company grows, things are changing for the worst.
- Clique culture - it’s not what you know but who you know and if you are the “loudest in the room”
- Name-and-shame instead of approaching the person/team in private to solve the matters
- “Superstars” that think they can do whatever they want at the expense of others
- People hired from large companies are demanding / complaining for the things from their old job. Netlify is a startup with just 140+ employees, not one with thousands of employees and tens of millions dollars of revenue.
The good employees that are genuinely collaborative are getting tired from all of these and many of them (at all levels) are leaving the company.
