      - decent salary - remote (mostly) - laptop provided

      Cons

      - no equity - mediocre 401k - the NTC way, or the highway. 1 female on the entire technical team, dude culture ftw - management exists to keep customers happy, not develop team members

      Decent work life balance and fully remote

      Cons

      - Health Insurance benefits were previously great, but were cut unexpectedly. - Stock options are mediocre at best; at around one ten-thousandth of a percent, you're looking at enough to buy a modest car if the company sold for a few hundred million, which it probably won't. - Pay is generally below market average and has consistently failed to track with inflation.

      Great company, great people

      Pros

      Great company to work for. Great culture. Everyone here is warm, welcoming, and willing to help. There is no withholding of knowledge or making fun of others for asking questions. The company was founded with a community-focused mindset and it still shows, both internally and externally. Everyone is fully remote, so there is no fear of getting forced back into the office. Management is excellent, and does a great job of treating everyone equally and with respect.
