    Great Brand

    Pros

Joined Nyetimber during the pandemic and the onboarding process was seamless and the induction was fantastic - well done HR. Though I wasn't able to meet anyone in person, all the teams were really friendly and positive over video calls and were always happy to help. The brand is great and is growing really quickly with lots of new and exciting projects.

    Cons

The benefits could be a little more better as it's very basic in comparison to other luxury brands.

    Nyetimber wines, UK's finest!

    Pros

Nyetimber offers an excellent opportunity to engage with other international winemaking professionals as well as a fantastic management and training team. In a multi-million euro facility, the access and education in equipment was unmatched. They provide lodging, meals/coffee/etc while working, rental cars, and some work attire for the position.

    Cons

Extremely long hours and difficult scheduling during harvest (12 hour shifts, either day or night). Day team works 8am-8pm and night team works 8pm-8am on a non-stop rotation during harvest.

    Pros

I have been part of the Winery Production team at Nyetimber for nearly 5 years, and I’m proud to say that I am enjoying it! All the Senior Management team are very nice to work with. This includes Eric Heerema, (our CEO) who cares a lot about our company, all of the staff members, the employee benefits and internal career progression. The Winery Production team have a very good and hardworking team members, who are led by the best Winemakers, which in my opinion, they are just great, who make outstanding English sparkling wine! Nyetimber is very supportive to their employees, and is always open in providing trainings and qualifications where necessary. In addition, the Managers are very supportive, by providing the right direction to reach the right decision for the business. Despite the company being physically separated into different locations, I would say there is very good communication and collaboration between each of the departments. Also, attending the staff parties are very enjoyable 😊 If a friend would ask for my opinion about working here, I would definitely recommend Nyetimber!

    Cons

As the company is based in different locations, it would be lovely to meet ALL staff members other than at staff parties.

    Pros

Growing brand that's great to be a part of. Fast paced work, Brilliant team, great level of responsibility, great breadth of work, beautiful office in the best location

    Cons

fast paced work place means you need to force yourself to switch off outside of the work - the pace can be addictive to keep going but senior management encourage you to switch off outside of the office

    Pros

Product is great. Winemakers are awesome and very talented. Some of the team do amazing work considering the circumstances.

    Cons

Poor management structure CEO is aggressive, rude, fires people at will Turn over of staff is horrendous - it's not a business to expect to stay in longer than a year Detachment between teams but this is due to the lack of leadership

Great possibilities of evolution and vision

    Pros

Great salary, fantastic winemakers, superb offices in central London, lovely team/employees, one vision and high investment, a great energy and belief in the brand/product, possibilities of evolution within the team thanks to a growing brand. I'" having a great experience, it is making me grow a lot and had nothing but interesting interactions with the CEO

    Cons

The CEO is a passionate man that invested everything in his product and in the brand. He is very rational and very involved, so all the Marketing decisions have to be put to him, even with the best arguments in the world, this company is his "baby" and he's the ultimate decision maker. The approach is therefore more commercial and from a marketing point of view based on rational reasons to believe more than on emotional factors

    Pros

I have worked for Nyetimber for over 10 years and I have found everyone from the CEO down really pleasant to work with and have never been happier in a company than I am now. With good communication via regular company staff days it makes for a good working environment, oh, and the discounted wine helps!!

    Cons

For me I can honestly say there are none.
