      Good salary and friendly colleagues in my immediate team.

      The director-level approach to strategy was blue-sky and laissez-faire and the whys and how's were never communicated, yet the business targets set were specific and very demanding. A legacy of wider broken processes and organisational structures, coupled with a high turnover of staff, lent to a challenging and pressured working environment. Proposals made around improving ways-of-working and introducing efficiencies were stonewalled and not heard due to managerial politicking. A faceless organisation, there was never any interest in my professional development needs, nor any concern about me on a human level and my personal well-being.
