Pros
I actually liked a lot of the people that I worked with, the program managers were nice and upper level employees seemed to try to recognize efforts of lower level employees, opportunities to move around a bit (the tech is definitely limited from a development standpoint either legacy Java or devops). I've heard during non covid times the company does hold events for employees. WLB is amazing too
Cons
The overhead is definitely limited here, so at the end of contracts they do have to furlough or lay off people but that isn't particularly out of the norm for a smaller contractor, certain certs like security plus have to be paid for out of pocket, some of the development contracts have a ton of documentation work which is extremely repetitive as a developer. Benefits might not be on par with some of the bigger more established NIWC contractors. Remote infrastructure isn't well flushed out but that's a niwc issue vs an ODME one. Also it can be a little slow at times.
