Good luck if you still work here. You are going to need it!

Pros

The best reason to work here now? Train your EQ, and increase your tolerance for incompetence, stupidity, rudeness, as well as micro-management.

Cons

Even though the job ads claim that OneDegree offers “Flexible working hours” and “Work from home”, the actual situation is a far cry from all their empty promises after the new management arrives. Sure, you still have “flexible working hours”, but in a sense that you have to standby at 930 sharp, and be able to reply to texts/calls after 530, sometimes on the weekends. Some of the higher-ups amaze staff everyday with how incompetent they are, and leave staff questioning, “How on earth are you able to be in this position at all when your capability, productivity, and efficiency are way worse than a fresh graduate?” They also have no idea what exactly are the job duties of their staff, and obviously not interested to learn about it either. The cherry on top: some higher-ups are rude and arrogant to a point that it is an embarrassment in a professional setting. The list goes on. TLDR: Bad management, false claims of working environment on job ads, incompetent higher-ups. Best of luck if you work here!

Pros

it's very touching that the company shows strong corporate social responsibility by hiring intellectually disabled person as top management. Even under a hard time with short fund and budget, Onedegree still pay real efforts and golds on mentally handicapped community, which earn my real praise and respect.

Cons

-Everything is urgent, even things for next next month or internal are requested to be done asap. But when everything's urgent, nothing is. -No leadership, just "ordership". The boss orders employees to do things like arrogant consumers in McDonalds, 24/7. Fast done, no tips, bad manners and keep changing their mind. -Higher-ups are acting like pecksniffian capitalist, though they are paid employees too, but they squeeze their juniors like ants in the name of cultivation. -Deparment heads, or shortly say those D heads don't have management skills at all, too busy at being puppets and messing things up with their self-centered cleverness. -Junor staffs are impatient and cold-hearted. Most of them resign and feel hard to work with mentally disabled.

Pros

Nice colleagues Hard working teammates Seniors engineers are decent.

Cons

Founder can only speak big words without real ability. He spent all his time to lie on media and to employees. A liar, don't trust any words from his mouth. Co-founder never consider resources and benefits for company, a totally selfish man. He is a control freak with bad management skill. Company has no clear goal, starting several projects with uneven distribution of resources. Gossips starting from founders, no leadership. Mislead you this is an open mind culture and environment when hiring, the truth is not
