I have been working at OpenBet full-time

    Pros

Fantastic benefits, great office, really good work life balance. Free fruit is a big plus. Exciting to grow at such a quick pace.

    Cons

One might get stuck working on old legacy systems/languages (TCL). Other than that I can't think of any cons

I have been working at OpenBet full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people to work with, very helpful and always open. Company culture is pretty good. Very diverse teams spread across the world. Lack of office politics. Senior management does engage on regular basis and keeps the company up to date with what is happening in other divisions. Decent training program , but most learning happens on the job. Very lucky to have had good seniors on the team to teach and guide.

    Cons

Work is not as interesting. Working on the product can be quite frustrating and repetitive. Pressure to deliver quickly affects the quality of the work being done. It feels as though the company has bitten off more than it can chew. Salary is not the best.

    I worked at OpenBet full-time

    Pros

The best thing about the organisation was the people. It may have grown to 2000 people in 23 countries, but it still, on occasion, felt like a startup. Summer in Chiswick Park was always great and there was usually a few people to get beer with.

    Cons

After finding out that the new-to-us SG CFO was of the opinion that "We don't invest in IT because it doesn't generate a profit" it all started going downhill and everyone who could leave, did so. Because what is a technology company without IT to drive it. Now it has been dragged back to the 90's complete with an overflow of middle-management.

    Pros

    - Great multicultural colleagues - Great working conditions - Good Benefits

    Cons

    - Outdated technologies and methodologies - Tasks set from external "customer" companies could end up being dull - Strict hierarchy could block new members from being involved in more interesting tasks

I have been working at OpenBet full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Worked in Openbet for over 7 years. There are many opportunities within the organisation to grow. Chiswick business park is great place to work in.

    Cons

Salary is considerably low as compared to other technology companies in London. Most of the technology is out dated but I think Openbet has made good effort in last few years to incorporate new technology.

I have been working at OpenBet full-time

    Pros

If you can go do this, you can pretty much do anything!

    Cons

Chaos! Chaos! Chaos! Never ever have a I worked in such a chaotic place where senior managers fight each other for resources but you get the blame for not delivering when they take all your resources away! Zero listening from management, and lots and lots and lots of blaming! Steer clear..
