Pros

Monday through Friday. No weekends, no call, holidays off. Travel is limited. You work closely with physicians at your location and get adequate time with patients.

Cons

Poor compensation. The management, located downtown is run by 'business' people, not medical professionals. The president of the company may have MD behind his name, but he is not a practicing physician. This company is not interested in providing quality healthcare, it is interested in making money. Communication is poor, training is limited. The benefits are ridiculous for a company whose purpose is to provide healthcare as a benefit. Medications are dispensed to 'clients', however they do not employ a pharmacist. Most functions are run by the IT department.

Pros

Great to be able to manage your patients autonomously Pay Extended time with patients to educate and truly help them Most of the reviews are from Indy employees.

Cons

Charlotte locations are very isolated from home base of Indianapolis. Executive leadership in Indy is out of touch with Charlotte employees. The company does not value feedback from providers or clinic staff. Leadership asks for input and then you are retaliated against if you don't give them the "correct" feedback. Disorganized Charlotte Leadership. Employees very unhappy. LOTS of provider turnover. 5 different providers in 3 years at just 1 location.Very poor communication from leadership about basic updates and changes that affect day to day clinic function.

Pros

OurHealth is forever growing and expanding, therefore there's almost always career opportunities available. Compensation and benefits (medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA options, free clinic access, etc.) at OurHealth are far above any other establishments I've been involved with. Each employee is engaged and dedicated to the job. Leadership is very involved with their respective department and others. I genuinely care about the work that I do here but have the ability to leave work at work and be present when at home. The overall culture at OurHealth is rare and exciting to experience.

Cons

If you are an HQ employee, you must pay to park. It's just the way it goes when working in the city. This is the only con that I could conjure up for the purpose of writing a fair review.

Thanks so much for sharing. Your comments reinforce the culture we want all employees to experience. We especially appreciate your comments on parking in a downtown location. Our hope is that the company-paid parking stipend and Commuter FSA benefit helps with that expense. Thanks so much for helping us deliver on our commitment to our patients and clients to make 'well made simple'.
