We were very disappointed to read this review. As with many other companies impacted by the economic impact of Covid-19, our leadership had to make very challenging decisions to protect as many jobs and livelihoods across our team as possible. One decision unfortunately included withdrawing offers of employment for new joiners, as in your case. We absolutely appreciate that as a result of this decision you were then put in your own difficult circumstances. The reality is, with slower than anticipated revenue growth and weakness in venture capital fundraising markets, your role was no longer viable, for which we are genuinely sorry. This was never our intention and the first time our business has taken such actions. Our decision was communicated as soon as possible, and with as much empathy, compassion and respect for you as possible. As a company that not only values, but thrives on feedback, we are always open to hearing how we can improve. However, in this case your comments on our leadership, culture, people, and our product itself are unfounded, as you had not yet joined our business to experience these things. In accepting our offer initially we very much hope that in fact the opposite was apparent during interviews, you resonated with the wonderful culture we’ve built at PassFort, and were excited by our product and the journey we are on given your extensive experience in the Compliance space. We consider ourself a people-first company, and acting ethically, honestly, transparently, and with integrity within all our relationships and business operations is above all else. This is reflected in the employee NPS and employee engagement scores we receive & value from our team. We are disappointed to have this relationship come to such an end, and hope that you’ll be able to understand our decision in the future. We continue to wish you every success in whatever you go on to do next.

Pros

PassFort is a great place to work. It is led by two inspirational people - Donald Gillies and Henry Irish. They are caring, committed and intelligent. In fact, everyone that works for PassFort is as bright as a button, which is really motivational. You are encouraged to think freely and do what you do best. You are relied on for the experience and expertise you bring, so you live up to the ambition the company has for you.

Cons

I honestly have nothing bad to say about working at PassFort.

Pros

- Flexible working - Trusting management layer - Still has a start-up feel - Opportunities to grow and develop

Cons

The recent acquisition by Moody’s has brought about a lot of change which wouldn’t be for everyone. But the leadership team has handled the transition well so far and is keeping everyone informed of any relevant changes.
