Pros

-Pay is decent -Vocational Specialists are great at supporting the team members -Health and Welfare benefit is great along with retirement plan -Hours are somewhat flexible

Cons

-Management needs some serious training on how to be effective. -Supervisors are lacking in skill, and often act with a superiority complex towards team members in an unhealthy way. -Micro management, Terrible communication, Last minute decisions, and improvised clunky solutions treating symptoms and not the root of issues. -Difficult to get time off -Team members are chastised for being proactive and input often ignored

Debilitating Workplace

Pros

They have a really high starting pay for helpdesk jobs.

Cons

They make a big talk about how they are a rehabilitating workplace for people with disabilities, but when it comes down to it they don't care about you. Metrics are the number one concern at this company and if you don't meet their unreasonable metrics they will start writing you up and building a case to fire you. Then there's the matter of time off. You build PTO up as you work, but there isn't any sick time or unpaid time off allowed. If you are sick they take it out of your pto if you have any, and count it against your attendance. They will give you 3 days for 1 point if you bring a doctors note, but If you want any time to yourself then plan to never be sick or make sure your record is clean enough to take an attendance hit.
