1 - 5.015 Oct 2023Sales DirectorCurrent Employee
Pros
Amazing and highly differentiated technology, brilliant client relationships and a supportive, patient sales culture that focuses on fostering the right behaviours and plan over short term performance.
Cons
Some recent restructures has undermined confidence of many; needs a period of stability and to have a clearer and more ambitious vision - huge potential if it gets it right.
1 - 4.03 Oct 2023Anonymous EmployeeCurrent Employee, more than 3 years
Pros
Great flexibility when it comes to working in the office versus working from home. The company do not impose any number of days a person needs to come to the office. It is encouraged to come and connect in person but no particular frequency is not mandatory.
Cons
Nothing I could think of.

Pros
Good package and easy interview process
Cons
After the probationary period contract ended, the reason given as there were fewer projects available and many were already on the bench. They could have avoided the offer 6 months earlier to save time and effort.

Pros
The technology is great, UK management is pretty good, benefits are OK too.
Cons
Pega decided a while back on a shakeup, brought in a new top manager so Alan Trefler could step back. New guy brought in a bunch of senior managers from IBM, SFDC, SNOW, did try to shake things up, so lots of people who didn't want to be shaken up left. New top guy has now been removed, so lots of his senior hires have left too. Most of us with long tenure now don't know what the culture is any more, and have decided that the grass is greener elsewhere (which of course erodes what little is left of the corporate culture further). Senior managers have become obsessed with announcing new job functions among VPs, most of whom no-one outside HQ in the USA knows, and whose job titles are becoming more meaningless by the day. There's a raft of new communications and engagement initiative, mostly done without apparent thought - for instance "Ask the Leadership Anything" sessions, where the only permitted topic for questions is decided in advance by the leadership. So more "Ask the Leadership what they say" then... Add to that, as another reviewer has commented, that the benefits package isn't even close to keeping up with inflation, and the (once pretty lucrative) options scheme is now worthless because the share price has collapsed (as have many tech stocks, to be fair), and it's no wonder attrition has jumped.

Pros
Very inclusive, supportive culture. The work, influence and sponsorship of our Employee Resource Groups goes far beyond anything I have seen in previous organisations. People can genuinely be themselves at work. Leaders, including the CEO, hold 'ask me anything' sessions so any employee can ask a question or share their opinion. Flexibility and wellbeing are supported - we have quarterly wellness days, back-up childcare, access to fitness and mindfulness apps, etc. Our product is market leading and people are really proud of the difference it makes to clients, and that we get to work with many of the top organisations around the world.
Cons
A lot of people have joined remotely during Covid so even though hybrid collaboration is working well, it will be nice to meet more people face to face from different locations.
