Inspiring SaaS company heading in the right direction, but with some growing pains
Pros
I joined the Memsource team in the middle of the pandemic as a completely remote member of the team, but that didn't prevent me from feeling fully welcomed to the team. At Memsource there is room for all to contribute to the company goals and objectives, and idea sharing is encouraged. Speaking specifically about the Marketing team, we have undergone a lot of changes since I joined the team and now everyone has clear roles and responsibilities within their sub-teams. There is definitely a level of trust across the team and most of the time team members are able to drive their own initiatives with little pushback. Team building is encouraged, especially for remote workers like myself, and events are regularly organized by the company. Company-wide updates are also provided on a regular basis, which allows for everyone on the team to ask questions and learn more about Memsource's future.
Cons
As a rapidly growing company, every team is experiencing growing pains. This can result in slower decision making, siloed teams/individuals, or a lack of ownership in certain areas.
