PLX is an amazing company with amazing products. I love working within a tight team of professionals where we not only had the ability to be creative, but also own our own projects. Everyone is smart and highly educated in their own way contributing to our effort to innovate and grow.

Cons

Sometimes you'll have to pull late hours to finish your work, but if you plan ahead you won't have to.

Busy but Highly Rewarding

I was hired on as an entry level shipping receiving clerk and I quickly worked my way up to logistics manager in a few years. PLX Devices gave me an opportunity to grow, learn and take responsibility for key jobs. Management encouraged me to go out of my confirm zone and grow above and beyond what I was hired to do. It's challenging but has rewards such as promotions and bonuses.

Cons

It's busy and hectic at times. You have to be able to multi-task and rise to the challenge to solve problems.

Many companies are politically driven and very few are actually performance driven. PLX Devices is the latter where the top priority is to get the job done and deliver the best products in the world. This is a great place to work for because it is fun to create new and exciting products. If you're looking for a top engineering firm to work for, this is it.

Cons

The culture at PLX is demanding and may not be a fit for everyone, especially new college graduates who are unable to acclimate to the professional work force.
